As a Matter of Fact! Or Fact of Matter

I have a smarty pants for a son! I'm pretty sure every parent thinks the same of their own kin! But the intent behind this blog is to capture some of the interesting conversations Divya and I have had with Tarun and some of the statements he makes which either catches us off-guard or makes us very proud. I realized that it would be great to look back at this blog some day in the future and have a good laugh or enjoy the moments with our kids when they grow old!

"Super"vision

Tarun wanted to play with one of the new gifts that he had received for his birthday. Divya instructed Tarun that he is not supposed to play with it without supervision. So here is what Tarun had to say...

"Mommy I'm a super hero I have Super Vision, so I think I can play with it"

Litter in Costco!

This was one of the first smarty pant comments that Tarun made during one of our shopping trips to Costco. He was about one and half years old. I put Tarun on a Costco shopping cart, he had a peice of paper in his hand. He suddenly decided to throw the paper on the road. I was not happy about the fact and said "Tarun you should not litter in public". In a flash Tarun replied "Appa, this is not Publix it is Costco!".
